THE PROBLEMS OF THEORY AND CATEGORIAL DEFINITION OF POLITICAL SOCIALIZATION IN POLITICAL SCIENCE

The article rise to some problems, that prevent political socialization theory from development, and keep political socialization category in vagueness. The comparative analysis of some categorical definitions and thesis which form the article context reveals main contradictions in political socialization theory. This article turns to work out orientations in building fundamental theory of political socialization.

WHAT IS DEMOCRACY?

The article is about institutional definition of democracy as a form of organizing political and governmental order. A complex of political and governmental orders, which determine the essential characteristics and peculiarities of contemporary polyarchy democracy, has been suggested. This complex includes order that determines the principles of forming the government in a state and activities of citizens, including their interrelations with the political authority as well as order that determines democratic principles of the government’s direct activities.

NEW START OF VLADIMIR PUTIN: HIGH OR LOW?

In view of political developments between late 2011 and early 2012, the formation of a positive image of the country and improving the Russian government’s authority have become very urgent and crucial. Will there be a “new” Putin in Russia. What will be the role played by D.A. Medvedev in the future? The article analyses some peculiarities in the formation of political tandems in the history of Russian government.

MIGRATION POLICY: THEORETICAL, METHODOLOGICAL AND CONCEPTUAL APPROACHES

The article analyzes key concepts of the study area, species, models and types of migration policies. In view of scientific works of foreign and Russian scientists it was determined a variety of approaches to the definition of "migration policy" and was suggested the author's definition of this concept. It is concluded that modern migration policy of Russia has a number of minuses that prevent the effective management of migration processes. One of the main reasons for this is lack of the Concept of State Migration Policy of the Russian Federation. The author has developed a new conceptual approach to the formation of state migration policy.

LEGAL MODERNIZATION IN DIALOGUE BETWEEN PARLIAMENT AND GOVERNMENT: POINT OF VIEW

The specific of the involvement of parties in the process of modernization is the duplicity in their role. On the one hand, parties as legal institution are subjects of modernization. The parties that were founded more often in Modern Times have established relations with government bodies as well as the elements of the civil society. Under the influence of ongoing political and legal processes in the country, their ideology is maturing, structure is transforming and functional system is changing. On the other hand, after fulfilling the role of motive power of reforms, parties are becoming active subjects of modernization process and the parties of reforms. The article reveals some specifics of Russian modernization in the perspective of interrelations between parliament and government and influence of political parties on it.

INTER-ETHNIC TOLERANCE AT THE SUB-FEDERAL LEVEL: REPUBLIC OF BASHKORTOSTAN

The given article insists on the need for the existence of tolerance for any person, people or state so as to overcome negative approach towards the culture of another people or ethnos and perceive it as it has historically existed. The problem of interethnic tolerance appears between the representatives of different ethnic groups in the process of human interrelations in various spheres of life-sustaining activities, and the article is dedicated to its resolution.

POLITICAL SCIENCES AND GLOBAL PROBLEMS A INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS “GLOBAL FUTURE 2045”

The author elaborates on some political aspects of global problems as discussed at the International Congress "Global Future 2045" held in Moscow on 17 - February 20, 2012. The main tenet of the article is any countering eventual disastrous effects of global problems is doomed to failure without a respective changes in collective consciousness and public opinion and fundamental transformation in the modern world order based on the primacy of state sovereignty. These changed require the formation of international civil society and the principle of a new ideology based on the primacy of human values. The main aspects of this ideology were developed by Russian thinkers-cosmists K.E. Tsiolkovsky, V.I. Vernadsky, A.L. Chizhevsky, N.F. Fedorov.

THE SPREAD OF THE MILITARY-POLITICAL BLOCS’ INFLUENCE IN RUSSIA'S NEAR ABROAD

This article discusses the aspect of the militarization of foreign policy activities as military-political blocs. The author examines the nature and content of the strategy of international coalitions in post-Soviet states. The consequences of the spread of influence of the military-political blocs near the Russian border to its national interests are studied.
